I am a degree qualified Integrative-Relational Counsellor and am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I am also a member of Hampshire Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (HACP).
As well as private work, I have worked with clients at Solent Mind and Life Changes in Southampton who have presented with many issues such as childhood trauma, rape, work-related issues, anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood, stress, depression, loss and relationship issues. I am also a trustee at the mental health charity for young persons, Off the Record.
As your counsellor I offer my commitment to you and your well-being by providing a warm, safe and non-judgemental space. Here you will feel truly accepted for all that you are, which in turn, will enable you to accept all aspects of yourself too.
I am a mother to two teenagers, a dog and a cat all of whom keep me busy! I enjoy walking, yoga and watersports.
If you think I might be the right counsellor for you, I would encourage you to get in touch.
